Intelligent mud valve skid is applied in drilling mud high and low pressure circulation manifold system. The application of automation control technology and information technology completely changes the traditional manual operation mode of drilling operations, reduces labor costs, eliminates personnel and equipment security breaches, improves management level, and realizes healthy, safe and green drilling production.
The system consists of drilling fluid switch valve, explosion-proof actuator, PLC control system, high-pressure parallel manifolds, low-pressure parallel manifolds, pump connection manifolds etc. The “double-flow” energy-absorbing drilling fluid switch valve converts the sliding friction of the driving system into rolling friction to ensure that the valve works easily and smoothly under large diameter and high pressure conditions, without scaling and leakage, and the sealing surface is not eroded. It overcomes the risks such as relying on manual spinning of the mud gate valve, which wastes time and energy, and easy to have downhole sticking etc., and also solves the problems of easy erosion of the seals and short service life of the valves; PLC controls intelligent mud injection guidance, realizes the logic opening and closing of the valves by using cycle interlocking technology, and prevents pump blockage; Real-time monitoring of the standpipe pressure, once the pressure exceeds the limit, immediately start the over-pressure protection system to overcome safety and environmental risks; Explosion-proof electric drive, personnel can operate on site and remotely to effectively ensure personal safety of personnel.

1、Personnel safety: Operators control the valves remotely, away from the high-pressure area, and protect the personal safety.

3、Downhole safety: Adopt electric drive, and the valves can be opened and closed quickly and reliably, greatly saving the backpumping time. The circulation can be quickly established in complex well sections to prevent series of downhole accidents, such as sinking sticking and well collapse sticking etc.
4、Reduce labor intensity: It is difficult to switch the mud gate valve after it is used for a period of time, and it takes more than three minutes to switch a valve with a extension rod. Now it only takes less than 60 seconds by pressing the button of the system, saving time and efforts.
